1. WHAT DOES MY $5 MEMBERSHIP DUES SUPPORT?
Part of the membership supports the National PTA ($1.75), part supports the State PTA ($1.75) and part supports our school PTA ($1.50). This membership into the State and National PTA helps provide local PTA’s valuable services and resources that strengthen the partnership between home and school, as well as, advocate legislation addressing child-related issues.

Programs/Activities Supporting Students – Stars of Character program, Central Committee Scholarships, achievement testing snacks, snow cones, book fairs, legislation advocacy, health, welfare & safety programs, birthday pencils, after school programs, technology grants, field resurfacing, playground equipment, after school enrichment programs, and Educational Development Grants. Educational Development Grants are grants the PTA provides to teachers. These grants support student’s educational, emotional, and health and safety needs by funding specialized programs/resources for students. These are all PTA organized events staffed with PTA volunteers.

Volunteers are needed at various times of the day throughout the year.
